Dr. Jancy James, Our Pride Again!
Dr. Jancy James has become the pride of our Emmaus Community once again. May God Almighty continue to shower his blessings abundantly on her so that she can conquer still greater heights and continue to discharge her duties still more elegantly always. Well , thats not a big achievement , there are several others in the community who have been more recoginised but never wanted the limelight.
So nuthing much to hoo ha on the blog on here , the focus is EMMAUS COMMUNITY and the church ....
But let us congratulate you on the idea of havingt blog and representing our community ...it was an excellent idea and it is well admired and liked upon by everyone ...
Why dont you start a directory of the parishioners and the family details and so on .. which will be more helpful especially with many orginal parishioners and their kids and relatives being out of the state and the country....
Can yourself and current parish priest work on this...

Great people have said that “beauty lies in the eyes of the beholder”. Some thing that appears to be big for some one may appear to be small for many others. There is malayalam proverb “aanakku thati bhaaram, urumpinu ari bhaaram”.
It is heartening to know that “there are several others in the community who have been more recoginised” (recognised). As we know, a community is made up of its members and their achievements add up to that of the community. Your encouraging remark deserves applauses.

This is a good suggestion. I really wanted to do that and as a beginning I had already approached the trustees of various times in person & requested them to provide their details and photographs through e-mail. Unfortunately the responses were very discouraging. Till now nobody has provided any material what so ever for that purpose.

As far as my limited knowledge goes, the duties of a vice-chancellor are very far apart from what you have highlighted here. Such things do not come under their look out, I feel. More over they are not supposed to interfere with such routine matters. As all know there are preset procedures & norms for securing admission to any course/college/university.
In fact if a vice-chancellor desists from interfering in admission procedures & so on, it should be considered as a very good quality of that individual and as raising oneself up to the decorum of the post he/she holds.
This blog is presently accessible to public, which implies that anybody world over with internet access can read its contents. Hence making such too personal and maleficent remarks about a member of our community or anybody for that matter is felt to be very much out of place & improper.
I personally consider every one as belonging to "the elite upper aristrocratic" (aristocratic) class unless & until proved otherwise.
Why are you making self-contradictory statements like this:
“can we not put personal stuff and achievements here , maybe we focus as a community here better ...”
Are you confused?
Your next sentence starting with
“everytime open the commuity blog........”
is too rotten to be exposed to public. You might be acclimatized to the filth of such words due to frequent use but most of the public may not be. So kindly spare such words/language in public expressions & bloging.

Most part of the response to the comment of Mr. Vinod Varghese applies to this comment also. In order to save time & space, those are excluded here.
Kindly note that the language used by you in the hostel rooms or used while conversing with your peers is not suitable for this type of forums. It is not suitable even for an ordinary family to converse among its members. Such words tarnish the image of the one who uses those as well as the community to which that one belongs.
It is earnestly hoped that you both will take this remark in the positive spirit and avoid using such language.

I am no member of the community. I am annoyed by the comment of the 'anonymous'. To become a vice chancellor is a great thing. I do not know any woman who has become a VC in Kerala before! Dr. James is a scholar or her own right. Before you comment on the merit of eduated people, try to become a scholar and then pass your comments.
